Cauldon China, operating from the historic Cauldon Place Works in Stoke-on-Trent, was celebrated for its innovation, fine glazes, and superb finish, producing luxury wares for royalty and international dignitaries. T. Goode & Co., established in 1827 in London’s Mayfair, held royal warrants and was recognized as the destination for the world’s finest tableware.
The upper portion of the cup is adorned with a wide, rich green band intricately decorated with scrolling gold foliate patterns. This is bordered above and below by delicate gilt geometric and chain motifs, adding further elegance and refinement.
The handles are generously gilded, providing a luxurious accent that complements the ornate decoration. The body of each cup is a pristine, creamy white, offering a crisp contrast to the vibrant green and gold detailing. The matching saucers echo the same decorative scheme, with the green and gold band encircling the rim and a central white well.
