A rare and outstanding set of twelve Art Deco tea cups and saucers by Plant Tuscan China, England, dating to the early 1920s. Each piece is finely crafted in bone china, the octagonal cups and saucers elegantly decorated with concentric bands of blush pink and richly gilded geometric accents to the bases and angular handles. The creamy ground is complemented by hand-applied gold rims, exemplifying the luxurious taste and modernist sensibility of the period.

Marked to the underside with the green printed ‘PLANT TUSCAN CHINA, MADE IN ENGLAND’ backstamp and pattern number, this set is a superb example of English Art Deco porcelain, rarely seen in such complete and well-preserved condition. The striking design and exceptional quality make this an important collector’s service, suitable for both display and connoisseur use.
